The United Nations has set 2025 as a pivotal year for achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls, as part of its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Despite progress in recent decades, the world remains off track to reach gender equality by 2030. Women still face significant disparities in wages, domestic labor, decision-making power, and violence.
