What Does The Future For Textile Looks Like? Ajay Agarwal Explains

During a chat at the NDTV Profit Conclave 2025, Ajay Agarwal, Group CEO, Reid & Taylor, shed light on India's apparel exports. He said that India's market share in global trade is just 3-4 percent. The country currently does roughly $16 billion in apparel exports. This could go up to $50 billion by the end of the decade if facilities are established in India. "Apparel export is the biggest market. We can become clothiers to the world," he added.
