Chief Economic Adviser Krishnamurthy Subramanian today explained what a 'V-shaped' recovery was. "It's basically a fall after which the indicators start going up, it's possible that the slope may not be exactly same as that of the fall because the fall is actually a drastic one but clearly the indicators that I gave you, whether it is the e-way bills, whether it is actually the freight, you know cement or steel consumption or power consumption or you know the core sector output, clearly after the significant decline, there is recovery so I am speaking based on data, I am not here to give an opinion or even respond to opinion," he told NDTV.
