What is ailing the rupee; Will RBI's strategy work?
Chin Thio Loo, Sr Currency Strategist at BNP Paribas speaks to NDTV about what is bothering the rupee and RBI's move to defend rupee by limiting net intra-day open positions. However, she says that this could still keep the dollar on an upward path. She adds, that rupee is weaker than the rest of Asian currencies is because of politics and structural imbalances.
