In this episode of Out of England, we take a look at what is it like to be a Muslim woman in the UK in 2014 and that also from the South Asian community? We also spoke to the Muslim youth to find out if they were open to finding life partners through online matrimonial sites or would prefer the traditional route. We also visited a World War 1 exhibition in Brunei Gallery to try and find out the valiant stories of Sikh martyrs who played an important role in history. Presented by the UK Punjab Heritage Association (UKPHA), the exhibition commemorates the remarkable, but largely forgotten contribution and experiences of Sikh soldiers, as well as the families they left behind.
