Union Sports Ministry on Sunday decided to suspend wrestling's premier governing body in the country, Wrestling Federation of India. Sanjay Singh, who was recently elected as the president of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI), informed that the suspended officials plan to approach the Central Government to get the suspension revoked. "Will go talk to the Central Government, will talk to PM Modi, Union Sports Minister because this has put the future of wrestlers in jeopardy. Some members of the Executive Committee will accompany me. We will try to get the suspension revoked," said Singh while speaking to ANI.
