"What Will We Do If Not Ask Questions?" AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak On Mass Suspension
It is the country's misfortune that 150 MPs were suspended for questioning the government in parliament, AAP's Rajya Sabha MP Dr Sandeep Pathak said referring to the record suspension of MPs from both Houses of parliament. "India is known for its democracy the world over. Asking questions is the basis of a democracy. What will the elected representatives do if not ask questions? Whenever there is a BJP government, there is negligence in the security of the House. There have been attacks in the past as well during the BJP rule. The people who breached security brought BJP MPs in their cars. The Home Minister and the Prime Minister should answer this in the House," he added.
