"When a woman becomes economically independent, then they become independent human beings. If a servant who gets paid 15,000 for her work, then how much should a woman who's a homemaker be paid for the care and running it efficiently. According to this, she should be paid 25,000 a month which is minimum," says Prahlad Kakkar, AD film director, on women and the cost of invisible labour.
