When Manmohan Singh Won Hearts In Rajya Sabha With Iqbal's Couplet
Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh died of age-related medical conditions on Thursday, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi, where he was admitted, said in a statement. He was 92.
He retired from the Rajya Sabha earlier this year after serving for 33 years in the house. Remembering him, he once recited the farewell speech to former RS chairperson Hamid Ansari in the Rajya Sabha on his last day.
