Who is Chidambaram to accept Pranab's statement, asks BJP
Pranab Mukherjee and Chidambaram addressed the media today about the controversial 2G note that has led to demands for Mr Chidambaram's resignation. Mr Mukherjee explained the note has some inferences that are not his. Mr Chidambaram said he accepts that statement. An angry BJP laid into the ministers, stating the note is not a matter of internal dissent and cannot be treated as a case of bruised egos. The Opposition said that CBI must investigate Mr Chidambaram for his alleged role in the 2G scam.
