This week, there was much heartburn all around after it came to light that the Delhi archbishop in a letter to other parishioners asked for a prayer campaign as a lead up to elections 2019. In his letter Archbishop Anil Couto used some strong words like "troubled times" and "turbulent political atmosphere which in turn is a threat to democratic atmosphere" but what really enraged many especially the government was that he asked for a prayer campaign in a lead up to 2019, while it didn't mention the BJP, the clergyman's words were very clear and Tonight on Reality check we get to the bottom of it, especially today when the head of the catholic church in India cardinal Oswald Gracias met with home minister Rajnath singh today, he says it is a courtesy call but coming the same week as this entire controversy where many have questioned the propriety of a church figure saying this, one can't deny the coincidence of it.
