Aravallis in Haryana have been under attack from illegal mining and construction activities for a very long time. This threat has increased manifold after Haryana government's latest advisory. This advisory has suggested to redefine Aravalli range on account of Centre's 1992 notification which only covers areas of old Gurugram district and not the Aravalli areas in Faridabad under the natural conservation zone.
