21 MPs of the opposition alliance INDIA are in Manipur even as they have moved a no-confidence motion against the government in the Lok Sabha. The members of the team visited Churachandpur, which has been the epicentre of the violence. Meanwhile, Manipur governor Anasuya Uike also went and met some victims in relief camps today in Churachandpur. The political outreach has only just started, the investigations into cases of violence and assault too are only now picking pace. The CBI has taken over the investigation in a case of sexual assault on two women by a mob in Manipur on May 4, a video clip of which went viral on social media platforms earlier this month. That brings us to a crucial question can a CBI probe reassure Manipur?
