Telangana Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy called the 'Pushpa 2' stampede incident "unfortunate" ahead of the meeting between Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and directors, producers, and actors from the Tollywood industry. "We will support the film industry...It is unfortunate what happened earlier. We will frame some guidelines," he told NDTV.
