Will Lower Lending Rates As Cost of Funds Go Down: Keki Mistry
Keki Mistry, vice chairman and CEO, HDFC, says the RBI has in its policy review announced measures to ease liquidity. This along with the cut in small savings interest rate will enable lenders to reduce deposit rates which will in turn result in a lower marginal cost of funds, allowing banks to pass on the rate cuts to consumers, he adds.
