Will Make Profit On Vaccine When We Enter Private Market: Adar Poonawalla To NDTV
Serum Institute of India CEO Adar Poonawalla told NDTV in an exclusive chat that he will make a profit on the Covishield vaccine after they enter the private market. He also said that Rs 200, the special price the government has bought the vaccine for, is "substantially low" and the cost of manufacture is upwards of Rs 300. He also said that he hopes manufacturers will lower the prices for countries like India.
