It is Bhaichung Bhutia's new attempt at winning the hearts of the voters. His first two attempts at winning elections may have failed but the legendary football captain will be fighting the 2019 elections on his home turf, Sikkim. Not only that, Bhaichung has a new party and a new strategy. No member of Bhaichung's party will be allowed more than two consecutive terms either as an MLA, MP or any other party post. This new brand of politics may be reminiscent of the Aam Aadmi Party's anti-corruption movement but will it work in Sikkim and will the rest of the country demand similar standards from its politicians? Sikkim goes to elections with the rest of the country during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
