The government today convened an all-party meeting to iron out key differences on the much awaited land acquisition bill that's likely to be tabled in parliament. The bill which was moved in the Winter Session of Parliament with 154 amendments has several unresolved differences that need to be sorted out on various clauses. Experts Chetan Bijesure, director of FICCI; Harsh Mander, social worker and writer; Hardeep Lamba, AVP - land transactions at Jones Lang LaSalle; Sanjay Jha, author and co-founder Hamaracongress.com, and Seshadri Chari, national executive member of BJP, if it will end up getting passed in the budget session and if, in its current form, a desirable legislation.
