With Flame Torch In Hand, Women Hold Protest In Imphal Against Central Govt
As the North Eastern State, Manipur continues to be under the grip of ethnic violence, women on September 08 held a protest in Imphal. With flame torch in hand, women protested against central govt over their failure to contain violence as it has continued for more than 16 months. However, to contain the protest, police force was deployed at the spot.
