Two days ahead of the parliamentary polls, a woman was killed in Nandigram in West Bengal's Purba Medinipur district. The woman was reportedly killed and several others were injured after unidentified and armed motorcycle-borne assailants attacked them. The BJP has claimed that several of their workers were attacked by Trinamool Congress workers. The region, which falls under the Tamluk Lok Sabha seat, will go the polls on May 25 in the sixth phase of the elections.
