Home to more than 3100 start-ups, the Indian start-up landscape - one of the fastest growing and the world's 3rd largest- is yet to create a more conducive 'business' environment for its women entrepreneurs. A meagre 10% of the total number of entrepreneurs in the country are women, while in the corporate world, only 4% of the top ranks are occupied by women. On this Women's Day Special episode of Heads Up, we bring to you a very special panel of 'womenpreneurs' including Anu Acharya of Mapmygenome, Manisha Raisinghani of Loginext and Dr Ridwana Sanam of KVR Healthcare and Physiotherapy to share their start-up journeys and how they broke stereotypes surrounding female founders in India.
