Smriti's Retort To Sonia Gandhi's "Hamara Bill" Remark On Women's Quota
Smriti Irani countered Sonia Gandhi's claim on the women's quota bill. Sonia Gandhi, the chairperson of the UPA, had said: "No seat should be reserved for women belonging to SC, ST in the third general elections." Congress's proposal was that women work hard for 10 years and in the 15th year, your right was snatched from you. On Tuesday Mrs Gandhi had told reporters the women's bill is "apna (ours)".
