"Won't Leave J&K, Getting Better Wages Here": Migrant Workers To NDTV
After recent spate of targeted attacks on migrant workers, many migrant workers have left the Valley in fear. But, majority of them say they are not leaving Kashmir as the local people they work for are taking good care of them. Approximately three workers come to Jammu and Kashmir for work every year and around 10,000 have reportedly left after recent attacks. NDTV spoke to migrant workers at a construction site. The workers say they are comfortable and are getting better wages in Kashmir.
