World Environment Day 2021: How Destruction Of Environment Can Cause Pandemics
According to Chandra Bhushan, CEO, International Forum for Environment, Sustainability and Technology (iFOREST), there is a very close linkage between human health, the environment and the ecosystem. Explaining the emergence of zoonotic diseases (which spill over from animals to humans), Mr Bhushan said, one of the fundamental reasons for zoonotic diseases historically has been the destruction of environment and ecosystems.
