Yogi Adityanath In Ayodhya: Mandir Politics?
Just a day after BJP leaders LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi and Union Minister Uma Bharti were charged by a Lucknow court with conspiracy to demolish the Babri Masjid in 1992, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was in Ayodhya today, first visit by a UP chief minister to the disputed Ramjanamabhumi site in 15 years. While he said the temple would be built after talks, he also added, many Muslim bodies favour handing over the disputed land to Hindus to build the temple. Is the BJP keeping the mandir port simmering?
