"You'll Be Surprised This Time": BJP's Manpreet Badal On Punjab Bypolls
BJP's Punjab bypoll candidate Manpreet Badal has expressed confidence that the party will do well in the by-election. Mr Badal said, "You will be surprised this time by the BJP's performance in Punjab. I have travelled the length and breadth of the state and I know it." Mr Badal will contest from his stronghold Gidderbaha. Mr Badal had been elected from Gidderbaha on Shiromani Akali Dal's ticket four times -- 1995, 1997, 2002 and 2007. He won from Bathinda (Urban) in 2017 on a Congress ticket. However, he lost this seat in the 2022 polls.
