IT majors don't seem to be too hassled with the updated draft of the U.S immigration bill, which included minor changes in visa provisions. Overall, the changes are likely to be modestly positive for offshore firms, as they would make it easier to deploy L-visa workers at client sites. The new version also offers better hope for offshore firms as they might try to secure L-visa for their employees, instead of an H1B. However, there has been an increase in rejection rates for L1 visas for some time now.
