In a heart-wrenching incident, villagers from Sunnampadu Panchayat in Maredu Milli Mandal, Alluri Sitarama Raju district, Andhra Pradesh, came together to save the life of a tribal man named Kacha Thamireddy.
Thamireddy suffered severe abdominal pain and was carried on a doli (stretcher) by his family members and villagers for 8 kilometers due to the lack of proper road connectivity and ambulance services.
The villagers expressed concern about the difficulties faced by tribal communities due to inadequate infrastructure, including the absence of culverts over streams.
They demanded that authorities and public representatives take immediate action to address these issues.
