On this day, 16 years ago, Tukaram Omble, a Mumbai Police ASI, sacrificed his life during the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Unarmed, he heroically held onto terrorist Ajmal Kasab's rifle, ensuring his arrest, even as he was shot and killed in the process.
