Yemen The Asian nation has been facing the worst humanitarian crisis in the world. It has a 3.397 GPI score, making it the most dangerous nation for travelling.

Sudan Sudan has a 3.327 Global Peace Index score, primarily due to outbreak of internal fighting between army and rebels in 2023.

South Sudan The sub-Saharan nation of South Sudan fares third on the list with a 3.324 score due to high levels of internal conflict.

Afghanistan With a score of 3.294, Afghanistan has been listed the fourth dangerous country. Taliban is to majorly blame for the high score.

Ukraine The war-torn nation of Ukraine has been devastated since Russia's invasion in 2022. It has a score of 3.280

Russia Sanctioned by various countries after it invaded Ukraine, Russia remains a dangerous country to travel. It has a Global Peace Index score of 3.249.
