Capybaras, the largest rodent species, are considered one of the most chill animals due to their unique characteristics

Native to the South American continent, capybaras can be found in most of its countries except Chile

Quite impressive in size, they grow from 106 to 134 cm and weigh between 35 to 66 kg

Capybaras are known for their calm and relaxed demeanour. They are not easily stressed or frightened, making them seem very chill

They are highly social creatures that thrive in groups. They live in large herds and are often seen lounging together in the sun

Within their herds, capybaras engage in mutual grooming, vocal communication, and playful interactions

They are also seen lounging with all sorts of species outside their own, sometimes even their own predators

Their social nature extends to interactions with other species, including humans. In some areas, they have become accustomed to human presence and have been domesticated

Capybaras are excellent swimmers and love spending time in the water. They often relax in rivers, lakes which adds to their chill vibe
