Students aspiring for admission in Open and Distance Learning courses are required to verify the status of the HEIs before enrolling

Courses related to Medical, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Nursing, Dental cannot be studied in Online and ODL mode

Other than these, courses in Engineering, Architecture, Aircraft Maintenance, Aviation are also prohibited for Online and ODL mode

MPhil and PhD programmes in all disciplines through Open and Distance Learning mode are also not allowed

Agriculture, Horticulture, Hotel Management, Catering Technology, Culinary Sciences, Law cannot be pursued online

Students must also refrain from taking admission in HEIs that are debarred from offering ODL or Online programmes

As per UGC, NMIMS Maharashtra, Sri Venkateshwara University, AP and Periyar University, TN have been put under the 'no admission category'
