1. Identify Your Skin Undertone: Your undertone is the subtle colour beneath your skin. It usually falls into three categories

2. If your skin has hints of pink, red, or blue, you have a cool undertone.  Warm undertone: Yellow, gold, or peach.  Neutral undertone: A mix of both warm and cool tones

3. How to find your undertone: Look at the veins on your wrist. If they appear blue or purple, you have a cool undertone

4. Green veins indicate a warm undertone, and if it's hard to tell, you're likely neutral

5. Jewellery test: Gold jewellery tends to complement warm tones, while silver flatters cool tones. If both look good, you're neutral

6. Choose colours based on undertones: For cool undertones, opt for colours like jewel tones, cool pastels, icy shades, and true blacks and whites

7. For warm undertones, go for earth tones (olive, mustard, rust), warm shades (coral, peach, warm reds), and creamy off-whites or browns

8. Most colours suit neutral tones, but soft, balanced shades like taupe, dusty pink, and soft blues are especially flattering

9. Consider Contrast: For high contrast (dark hair, light skin) bold, rich colours create a striking look

10. For low contrast (light hair, light skin or dark hair, dark skin), softer, more muted tones create harmony
