On India's 78th Independence Day, here's a list of places that you can visit to get acquainted with India's fight for freedom

Red Fort is the place where India's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru raised the Indian flag on the first day of independence on August 15, 1947

Cellular jail, or Kaala Paani, at the Andaman Islands, is the place where those fighting for Independence were locked up. Today, the building has a museum
