There is a town called Cameron Airpark in California, US, where planes on the streets are as common as cars

The fly-in community is centred around an airport and aviation enthusiasts who could store their planes at home

As per the official site, there are over 100 homes and lots in the town, and people use their lavish personal planes to travel for work and business

The neighbourhood has a "Residential Through The Fence" access policy that covers the "rules of the road" for safe co-existence of ground vehicles and aircraft

Roads in the town are 100 feet wide, designed so that pilots can taxi their planes right from the airport to their doorsteps

The airpark's roads are wider than the airport's runway since they are designed for planes and cars to pass one another safely

Other unique features about the town include the street signs and mailboxes, which are built extra low so they don't get clipped by planes' wings

Street names in the town are also appropriately aviation-themed, from Boeing Road to Cessna Drive

The residential airpark does not allow outsiders to use the property without permission. Visitors are allowed only if owners invite them

The airpark was constructed in 1963 and people living in the town are mainly retired military pilots by profession
