This day marks the birth anniversary of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand, who was born in 1905, in a Rajput family in Allahabad

He was part of the Indian hockey team which got gold in Olympics of 1928, 1932, and 1936. He scored more than 400 goals in his career which spanned over 22 years
