One such unique structure is Ruyi Bridge, a stunning footbridge in Zhejiang, that is also known as the 'bending' bridge because of how it looks

The bridge was built to be a tourist attraction, spanning the Shenxianju Valley, and is one of China's 2000 glass bottom bridges

The vertigo-inducing glass-bottom bridge sits 140 metres above the ground and is 100 metres long

It comprises 3 wavy bridges, and part of its deck is partly made of glass,  providing visitors with a thrilling experience of walking above the picturesque landscape below

Its design is inspired by a jade ruyi, a curved object that is used as a symbol of good fortune in China

The fantastical bridge, designed by He Yunchang, has been open to visitors since September 2020
