1. Green anaconda
Found in South America, especially the Amazon and Orinoco basins, the green anaconda can grow up to 9 metres.

2. Reticulated python
Found in southeast Asia, including Indonesia and the Philippines, the reticulated python can measure up to 8 metres in length.

3. Amethystine python
Also called the scrub python, it is the longest snake found in Australia. They average around five metres but some have been spotted measuring over 8 metres as well.

4. Burmese python
Native to Southeast Asia, the burmese python is known for its adaptability and striking patterns. Can grow up to five metres in length.

5. African rock python
Africa's largest snake, known for its aggressive temperament. It is a member of the constrictor group and can grow up to six metre in wild.

6. King cobra
The longest venomous snake in the world has an average length of 3.2 to 4 metre. They are found in plains of India, southern China, and Southeast Asia

Found in Indian subcontinent, Sri Lanka, and parts of Southeast Asia, the Indian python is non-venomous and can measure up to 4.6 metre in length.
