Solar eclipse is a major celestial event when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, casting its shadow on Earth

The year 2024 will witness a total solar eclipse on April 8 when afternoon skies will temporarily darken

In the US, the eclipse will be visible in 15 states and fortuitously cuts across Mexico and a small part of eastern Canada
