Aditya Srivastava from Lucknow bagged the first rank in CSE 2023

This was Mr Srivastava's third attempt. He was earlier selected as IPS in the UPSC 2022 exam

The UPSC topper did his initial schooling from City Montessori School, Aliganj. He later graduated with a degree in Engineering from IIT Kanpur

After his graduation, Mr Srivastava worked in many private companies

He was working in a company in Bangalore when he decided to quit his job to entirely devote his time on UPSC preparation

Mr Srivastava's father is an Audit Officer (AO) in the Central Audit Department and mother is a homemaker

The result was a complete surprise for Mr Srivastava as he never expected to get the first rank and was only praying to get into the top 70 slot

The UPSC topper initially wants to begin his role by implementing the government schemes introduced for common people

He then hopes to take charge in public policymaking level. for improving children's health and education
