The Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir in Vrindavan is currently under construction and is planned to be the world's tallest religious monument

Once completed, the temple is projected to be around 210 meters (689 feet) tall, making it the tallest temple in the world

The temple's architecture is inspired by both traditional and modern styles. The temple complex combines elements of classical Indian design with high-rise structural engineering

Built by ISKCON Bangalore, the temple aims to promote Vedic culture and the teachings of Lord Krishna. It also intends to support educational and spiritual initiatives for the community

The complex will include a Krishna heritage museum, immersive sound-and-light shows, and multiple multi-sensory exhibitions that showcase the life of Lord Krishna

The entire project spans over 62 acres, with ample green spaces, gardens, and water bodies, including a recreation of the forests of Vrindavan, said to resemble the landscape where Krishna played

The temple's design takes into account earthquake resistance and wind load, ensuring safety for such a tall structure

Estimated at about ₹700 crores, this ambitious project is funded by donations and contributions from devotees worldwide
