Compare The Market recently shared data regarding the world's most and least expensive passports in 2024

Mexico has the most expensive passports globally. It costs Rs 19,464 for 10-year validity while its 6-year and 3-year passports are the 4th and 9th most expensive, respectively

Australia, the sixth-largest country in the world, has the second-most expensive passport, costing around Rs 19,023 and valid for 10 years

Australia is followed by the United States, where a passport costs Rs 13,899 for 10-year validity

This year, New Zealand ranked fifth on the list of most expensive passports. It costs Rs 10,654 for 10-year validity

On the contrary, some European countries like Hungary and Spain along with African nations like Kenya and South Africa have some of the least expensive passports in the world

The United Arab Emirates offers the cheapest passport worldwide. Getting a passport for UAE costs just Rs 1,492
