Actor Salman Khan was today sentenced to five years for killing a homeless man and injuring four others in a hit-and-run in 2002. He has been granted an interim bail till Friday by the Bombay High Court. The news came as a shock to many celebrities who showed their support to the Khan family. Many of them also took to twitter to express their views on the verdict.
A law is a law. This is unfortunate. Salman's family are law-abiding citizens and they have already undergone 13 years of mental torture. His philanthropic work is well known and he is known to help the needy people
