- I will consult leaders for initiating action against the offenders. What has happened has shamed us.
Meira Kumar 13/2/2014 - It is very shameful. It hurt me after seeing what happened. I never imagined that in the history of Parliament something like this would happen. Congress led UPA government is responsible for all this.
Rajnath Singh 13/2/2014 - Ministers coming into the well of the House, throwing papers. It was disgraceful for Parliament. The government should just pass the vote-on-account and nothing else amid this chaos in Parliament.
LK Advani 13/2/2014 - What happened in Lok Sabha was Congress drama with eye on polls. BJP will not talk to government on anything in future.
Sushma Swaraj 13/2/2014 - It is terrorising parliamentary democracy. Speaker has to act very vigorously. Drastic action has to be taken against MPs.Veerappa Moily 13/2/2014
- Disgraceful, unprecedented, unforgivable. I hold Congress party responsible for these clashes. It's a sad regression, the government must be held responsible for what is happening.
Jaswant Singh 13/2/2014 - What happened today in Lok Sabha is shameful. It is a big blot on parliamentary democracy. 25 members can't hold the House hostage.
Kamal Nath 13/2/2014 - Strong action will be taken against erring MPs as it was an attempt to "kill" members.
Rajiv Shukla 13/2/2014 - Matter of great shame what happened... Today's events diluted parliamentary democracy in India. They (MPs) should be expelled, criminal cases should be filed.
Somnath Chatterjee 13/2/2014 - What has happened today has been building over weeks and weeks. What was the Speaker doing? There is a very heavy abuse of privileges by the MPs.
