MEXICO CITY:
Eleven tourists, all apparently Mexican citizens, are dead following a bus crash on a highway south of the resort town of Tulum.
Authorities say eight women, two men and a 2-month-old baby were killed when the bus flipped on the grass on the side of the highway in Mexico's Caribbean coast state of Quintana Roo. Several other passengers were injured.
The cause is still under investigation. The state detectives' agency says the bus driver has not been located and may have fled.
