Beijing:
An explosion caused by a suspected gas leak brought down a three-story building in eastern China, killing at least 11 people, state media said today.
The explosion occurred yesterday in an employee cafeteria of a gas sales company in Suzhou, a city west of Shanghai, according to the Xinhua News Agency.
Nine survivors were being treated in hospitals, the report said. It said a preliminary investigation showed the blast was caused by a gas leak.
