Ottawa:
Two people arrested in connection with a Boxing Day shooting at a shopping mall in Ottawa have been released without being charged.
Police said Saturday they are still looking for two suspects after a man was wounded in the foot on a pedestrian walkway at the Tanger Outlets mall on Friday.
The shooting occurred on Boxing Day, one of Canada's busiest shopping days of the year. The shooting sent frightened shoppers and employees ducking for cover.
Duty Inspector Mark Patterson said the victim was known to police and was not co-operating with investigators.
The mall re-opened Saturday after management closed it Friday to give store employees a chance to recover from the incident.
Police say witnesses are being interviewed and investigators will be going through surveillance footage.
