Beijing : Twenty workers were killed when an explosion ripped through an under-construction expressway tunnel in central China's Hunan province today.
Four workers were pulled out of the tunnel, while 20 others were killed in the incident, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
The blast took place in Yanling county, Zhuzhou city, on an expressway linking the counties of Yanling and Rucheng, when a vehicle carrying explosives was unloading its cargo in the tunnel.
