Lisbon:
A bus crash in Beja in southern Portugal on Friday killed at least three people and injured 20 others, civil defence rescuers said, just two days after another coach accident killed four Dutch tourists.
Local rescue workers were unable to immediately confirm the nationalities of Friday's victims, or the reasons behind the crash.
A helicopter, 91 rescuers and 37 vehicles were deployed to the scene, while traffic was cut off in both directions.
The accident occurred two days after a bus crashed in Portugal's southernmost Algarve region, which killed four Dutch tourists and wounded 30 others, including the Portuguese driver.
