Three children in a kindergarten in a northern Chinese town died after the building collapsed.
The official Xinhua News Agency says three others were injured on Saturday in the county of Yongqing in Hebei province.
A man who answered the phone at the local county government on Sunday confirmed the three deaths but declined to give more details or his name.
Xinhua says the cause of the collapse is under investigation.
